Yes!

Mild menstrual cramps are due to the contraction of the muscle of the uterus and are a common problem in woman of reproductive age. However, more severe forms, called dysmenorrhea, are observed in some women causing them to miss work, school, etc. Like any other gynecological problem, careful evaluation and treatment can be very helpful.  NaPro tracking a women’s menstrual cycle will assist the medical consultant in identifying the possible causes of the pain, and whether it is organic or hormonally related.

One of the difficulties that many women experience is that many physicians don’t always believe or understand what a women is experiencing when she says she has painful periods.  It is helpful to go to a physician who is particularly interested and sensitive to these issues.
