Can the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System (CrMS) help with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)?
YES, and for moderate to severe PMS the success rate is 95%!
The diagnosis of PMS includes the following list of symptoms: irritability, breast tenderness, bloating, weight gain, carbohydrate craving, crying easily, depression, headaches, fatigue, and insomnia. If these symptoms occur greater than three days prior to your menstrual period, you may have PMS. If they occur within three days of the onset of menses, they are considered to be normal premenstrual symptoms. In addition to these ten core symptoms, other symptoms have also been documented in patients.
By charting your cycle, a physician can target the postovulatory phase of the cycle and perform an adequate hormonal evaluation. Women who have premenstrual syndrome generally have decreased levels of both progesterone and estrogen and beta-endorphins levels late in the cycle.
